Located in Mérida’s Historic Center, this home reinterprets the region’s traditional architecture through a contemporary design that prioritizes natural light, ventilation, and a connection to the outdoors. The layout is organized around courtyards and landscaped areas that link the various spaces, allowing vegetation and water features to accompany the flow of the home and impart a sense of freshness and tranquility. The materials used combine walls with light-colored finishes, natural stone, wood, and handcrafted details that evoke Yucatecan identity, creating a warm and timeless atmosphere.
