Located in the San Cristóbal neighborhood in downtown Mérida. With a Porfirian façade and a first bay over 5 meters high, as well as a renovation from the 1980s in which the ceilings were 2.50 meters high, the goal in the subsequent modules was to take advantage of the house’s existing, well-executed design; The strategy was to give greater prominence to the empty spaces that had served as utility areas, transforming them into interior gardens that would serve as visual focal points, giving them a warmer, more tropical feel with local materials and vegetation.
In the courtyard, three large trees create an atmosphere of tranquility and freshness, which at the same time invites socializing and contemplation of the architecture.
