Designed as a vacation home on the Yucatán coast, this residence aims to offer a leisurely living experience, where moving through gardens, terraces, and open spaces is part of daily life. The architecture unfolds horizontally, allowing each space to relate naturally to the landscape. The entrance leads along paths surrounded by vegetation that open onto the social areas and the pool, creating a gradual transition between the outdoors and the home. The covered terraces and the palapa serve as the project’s gathering spots, creating ideal spaces for socializing and relaxation. The design incorporates natural stone, wood, and thatched roofs, lending a warm, tropical character that harmonizes with the surroundings of Chelem.
