A hidden retreat in the beautiful state of Campeche, a place for leisure and work. 400 hectares of land, used mostly for agriculture and livestock. Within a 60-hectare reserve, we were to develop the caretaker’s house, a lookout, a lake, stables and the family home. In the first stage, the lake and the houses were built with a modular construction system that makes them easy to build with local labor. The project was resolved on the premise of living within and toward the outdoor spaces, taking advantage of the magnificent views over the artificial lake, designed as a protection system for the region’s wildlife.
